Correct, but it must be done by a dealership..

Just came back from Thunderhill Raceway, the 2016 DVT PP is a certified monster on the racetrack! Wheeling over a cresting hill, even at half throttle, and leaving darkies everywhere!
The full Termi sounds awesome.
Time to re-learn how to go fast, this time on a 480lb tall bike...

when you start the bike does the dashboard displays anything indicating the racing map is active/loaded? I recall seeing on other ducati models that 'race' would display on the screen when powered up. Not sure if that is the case with the multi.

I'll get the Multi back from the dealer, in a few days (after signing a waiver, pulling mirror and number plate off), I'll post then

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me then a frontal Labotamy!

At the tune of $125, the map was installed. Apparently, the "original" map get uploaded into the thumb drive as the "race" map is downloaded into the bike's computer. If the full Termi get uninstalled, so does the map, and the original is switched once again.
Contrary to the 1199 and other Ducati hypersport motorcycle, the Multi does not show the "Race" map on the dashboard.

Picked mine up Saturday and when it is booting up it does say racing on the right side of the screen (2018 1260S). I like the exhaust and mapping quite a bit! AT idle and cruise it sounds close to stock but if you crack the throttle it barks with authority (no baffle)!! The low end fueling is spot on and the boost to mid range power is significant!

Full Termi on 2105 MTS

Hello,

I am looking to buy a used 15 MTS and needed some advise. The guy selling the bike put on a Full Termi, I asked him if he had the dealer do it and he said he had a friend put in on. From what I have read on these forums people have said the dealer needs to install the map. Should I be concerned about this? Could there be potential damage to the bike by running the full termi with the map not being setup properly or loaded correctly?

Stay on the Gas!!!
