Quick shift Kit for the TuneBoy system

This is a poll to determine interest in a group buy for a quickshifter (up and down) kit for the Multistrada 1200 consisting of linkage, strain gauge and pre-wired cable.

It will require the user to also be able to flash their ECU with the TB system either by buying a kit or buying a licence and having someone flash the ECU for them.

Perhaps Wayne can comment on if this will need an extra licence or e.g. full licence versus cruise only (I suspect a "tune" licence will suffice).

I tried to just have a single counter option but the board software needs at least 2 choices.

Anyone thinking of voting "no interest" should check one out before bothering to vote.

It will also be applicable to the Panigale and Diavel but those would presumably need different hardware so they can do their own poll.

TB CC and QS with SC Project 3/4 system & air filter
TB is great, the SC is not good quality/design-wise.

I am in.

This assuming I can make use of my Tuneboy Cruise and tune system.

I can say I am happy with the Tuneboy product, but it is not for the faint hearted. It does work very well for what I want and do, and this power-shift, if it can be made to work, would be JFAwesome. I have faith, based on what I have seen and experienced, that something very cool (yet again) for this bike could be delivered here.

very interested, but...

i just worked with a local (very good reputation) dealer in an attempt to load tuneboy and tune my new arrow full system on a 2011 1200s. the attempt went poorly - long story short, there appears to be software issues integrating my tuners system, with tuneboy, with my bike. i had to back off and use a pc, which got me riding again.

have others had better luck with a tuneboy tune on our multi's?

Hi Bartman,

As this is just a poll thread, you would be best served posting this on the TuneBoy tuning thread I think.

Some of us will comment if you post over there.

Glad to see these numbers climbing.

We will share our knowledge and make this invention work to its potential.

Just to be clear.
You will need prior approvement by a mod or admin to actually start the groupbuy guys. And the vendor needs to be paid up and onboard.

Ok? Just want to cover the bases before anything gets going.

Interest would depend at least partially on cost.

I think the aim is some 300 bucks all in (assuming you already have the Tuning option from Tuneboy).
