Good cool night in Missouri to do a fluid flush and bleed. Rear brake was still working but soft and very long travel. Front brake a little soft. Clutch a little soft and had to adjust out a little to get enough travel to shift to neutral when sitting still. A good amount of air out of the rear brakes do was very dark. I have had the bike almost 3 years and added 9000 miles. This is the first time I flushed and bled them. All feels good and solid now. Look at the color of the bleed bag and that is with the clean fluid that was flushed through mixed in too.

A few weeks ago I had it tuned and CC added. Love the CC and the flatter torque curve, no dips.

I have the touring windshield so I cut the standard down to a shorty to gets some air in the summer. Whatís everyone think, clear or blacked out. Itís plasti dip so it can be pealed right off. I did the outside so it would resemble the black plastic texture on the rest of the bike, but could do the inside and then it would be shiny.

I've got the impression that the overhead lights are making that picture of the black version look worse than it is. The attachment points stick out like a sore thumb with the black, but they are somewhat obvious when clear too. What are your thoughts about being in the windstream with the shorty? I'd like to do that with mine too for the summer.

I think the lights do make them stand out. Iíll get an outside picture. Initial thoughts are wow the vents on my helmet work. Not as quite as standing in the air, but not much different than with the touring screen. I did real the air when turning head side to side. My helmet is and avg K5.

Did you DIY the crash bars? I need those.

The Sargent (they need your seat pan sent in) has been awesome. I just completed a 300 mile loop in Socal. Up to Ventura, out Ortega hw and back. Then on down to San Diego.

If your ass is on the wide side, or you have a donk like me, the width is perfect. They have a prostate channel. A welcome addition! I wear padded bike shorts under Motoport mesh pants. Works well.

Did my DVT service and fork service at dealer last week. $2200 But they really did everything it needed, including an oil change and thorough chain cleaning/lube. Updated ECU and odds and ends. Started quicker, and gained a few MPG.

I'm OK, you're OK

Black looks better, black on inside would be cool too. One or the other not both.
