DB2 single sided swingarm

Here are some pics of my DB2 mocked up, post fabrication and welding.
I used a MHE swingarm and made a custom shock mount.
Up on the frame, I had to move the shock mount over 20mm.
Now I can start on the exhaust system.

Can someone help me understand how one would change out the shock without cutting the frame?

Never mind, figured it out.......bolt/stud/threaded rod through the tube with a nut on each side cinching it down. der.....

Although, seems like the cut tube would start to fatigue over time, no? Even though its bolted down the strength now relies on the bolt and not the tube. No gussets either. Probably be ok; just worrying/wondering out loud i suppose.

This is the same as the original Bimota shock mount, just moved laterally. I'm sure they put plenty of engineering into it
