ST series mirror interchangeability

Hi all,

I have a 2004 ST4s (with the newer fairings) and I bought it with broken mirror bases, that are bolted together.

I have found some mirrors on ebay, but they are from different models (left is from an ST2 and right from an ST3).
The colours are different than mine. Can the colloured parts from mine, be fitted to the ones i have found?
Also, is the base plastic same shape on all ST's?

Basically I need to know if the mirrors of the ST series are all the same.

Hi, thanks for the help!!

I know that the plastic covers are removable.
I have tried on my mirrors after watching an "under the cover" image and succeeded to remove them.

My question was basically if the black arms fit on all the mirrors and all the fairings.

My question has been answered.
Just to clarify, are there only 2 length of arms and 3 length of springs?
Or are there 3 length of arms too?

Like he said..........

......the older (pre-2004) fairing was narrower so the mirror stalks were longer. I know from personal experience. 🤬

Anyone know of a decent replacement for the older ST mirrors? I have the moto science mirrors but the stalks are short and I can barely see past my shoulders.
