Question Learmonth

I am apparently going to take a trip to Learmonth Australia this fall for work. So, I pretty much know nothing about that area. Does anyone have some info they would like to share. Mainly I would like to know what to expect in this area. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Learmonth. What state is it in and where is the nearest capitol city? I might be able to provide links, contacts to the closest DOC group.

Learmonth is near Ballarat in Victoria, one of Australia's southern states. Close to Melbourne and and many nice bike roads.

I think there is another Learmonth in Western Australia some place and if that is your destiny then no doubt it will be some place remote

Thanks for all the help. Apparently I am now going to Adelaide instead of Learmonth.

Adelaide, basicaly my home city. Lots of great wineries to go to, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale. Not a lot else though.
What do you do for a crust? I am guessing Armed Forces, maybe Airforce?
If it was Learmouth in WA, it is an old American airforce base with the US Naval base being just up the road at Exmouth all now decommissioned. Great diving, snorkelin and fishing up that way and at the right time of year nesting turtles or whalesharks.
