This is NOT a far easy Asia meet up plan it's for those of us living in Japan.
There's meet ups all over the world in different countries why should this be different.

As to bike rental comments there are companies that will rent ducati's.

I might be good for a meet up later in the year. Some other guys up here ride ducati's as well. There is an official desmo owners club somewhere around kyoto maybe. I think its club corsa or something.

I live in Kyoto not heard of one. And the Ducati shop here is pretty ignorant and non helpful. Especially when you did not buy your bike from them.
But hey later in the year certainally works.

Isn't Japan about the size of Malta?

Not a big deal then, right?

It's apparent you really don't know about Japan, it is a big deal.
And you obviously don't understand the Japanese culture or way things are.
But I appreciate the effort you've put forth. But still not a meet up.

I'm not sure about the shop there. But I've been to Ducati Tokyo West, Motocorse, Utsunomiya, Sendai, a few others..they've all been pretty helpful. Sometimes too helpful. Theres that initial barrier, but if you ask about something minuscule, thats when the pamphlets and free brochures come out. Plus, theres probably more americans and whoever else on ducati in tokyo and north than in Kyoto. But I know its out of your way. Next time you hop on the train and in tokyo, stop thru Ducati Tokyo West and ask about something for your bike. If anything you should notice a difference in how customers are treated.

Have you been to the MotoGP race at Motegi before?

Right now, I think the closest I may get down there is if a friend and I have the balls to try a track day at suzuka. But definitely MotoGP. Marquez will have title wrapped up by then tho!

But again, I understand Tokyo and north of it is a long way from you.
