Great spot the Creg, there is a great photo of Guy Martin & Jorge Lorenzo talking on the upper balcony of the Creg.

When do you fly out mate?

I really hope you enjoy your trip - can't see how you won't!

Things I remember:

If you do the grandstands at the Pits (Glencrutchery Road) take something to sit on - those benches get very very cold - how cold - very very very cold!

If you go to the churchyard at Braddon there may be a little van staffed by volunteers from the Church - by all means donate some money - but don't drink the coffee - it was vile.

Bray Hill is very steep - much steeper than it looks on the TV - just remember that if you want to walk up it. Watching from the bus stop at the bottom is incredible - everyone knows this - get there early.

The local inhabitants who stay for the race are lovely, some will even let you sit in their front yard if you ask nicely. They are not allowed to ask for money in exchange for this, but if you are me, you offer anyway because the view as per attached photograph was too good!!

Enjoy!

A few of my mates are racing there part of team USA that also went to Phillip Is in January for the International Classics. Two of them will be racing sidecar the other solo as newcomer. You should say hi to them if you get a chance but with the crowds in Douglas that could be tough.
