998 Intro

Hello, new member from CA, recently acquired a 2004 998 MTX. Last Ducati was a 1972 750GT. Keenly aware of the obvious, I'm noticing a few differences. Appreciate the resources here.

Hello and welcome, lots of great people here with the right answers to your questions. Use search and the "Hall of Wisdom."

ACME Test Pilot, ACME Race Team Primary Rider. NO wins, many, many losses..........Usually due to an anvil or piano crossing my path. Falls from cliffs slow me down a bit too.

Hypermo is correct, 998 Matrix. Bike had been sitting a while, Changed belts, coolant, fork seals, brought valve clearances to later specs. The forum has been a great help already.

Hey Jim, welcome. You should consider coming to our annual West Coast Meetup: https://www.ducati.ms/forums/11-duca...13-6-16-a.html
