New Product, Rocker Holder Tool 2V- 7mm

Have come up with another tool to assist when doing valve adjustments on the newer 2V-7mm valve stem motors. It is designed to provide leverage to easily hold down the closing rocker so you can remove the half rings and change out the closer shim. Made of mild steel. Cost $35.00
Works on the following bikes:
Monster 695, 696, 796, S2R 800-07', S2R 1000, 1000, 1100
Multistrada 1000, 1100
Sport Classic- all models
Hypermotard- all models

The website should be updated in a few days to allow purchase of the tool.

If you have any questions about the tool, email me at [email protected]

thanks,
Mike

No, it holds the closing rocker down so you can move the closing shim down the valve stem to remove the half rings. If the piston is at TDC the valve will only drop down to rest on the top of the piston. It wont drop all the way down into the cylinder.
