Black s2 pic

Hi Colin,

Was chasing parts on the net and I stumbled on this s2 pic.
I recon that it is a cracker. It is out being used

Thanks Rossco, very nice. Ilike the black. I recall seeing a picture somewhere of a Mille black S2 which was gorgeous.

It's all got a bit wintry here; I was hoping to get out on my S2, but it looks like that is not on the cards now, so I'd better go and drain the carbs. I neglected to do it one winter, and in the spring it ran like a tractor until the jets cleared.

We are the opposite Colin,
Being subtropical it gets so muggy that it is not all that pleasant in safety gear.
Luckily they are getting better at mesh suits.
35deg and 95% humidity you don't want to be in the workshop either.

Probably one of these two from BH.

Hi Rossco,

Yes, cracking bikes; I still love mine.

I have an idea of what you are saying with the heat and humidity, occasionally it gets very hot and sticky here and wearing leathers is not exactly comfortable. I remember years ago going to Brands Hatch on a blisteringly hot day and sweating so much that I couldn't get my wet leather trousers off; in the end my wife had to pull them off for me (no innuendo please).

Thanks Rossco. And Happy New Year to you too and to everyone else who has helped with their input and advice on the forum here.

I'm still sitting here waiting for my motor to return. Should have been here before Christmas, but is anyone surprised it wasn't... not me!

See you all in 2019!
Rob

Thanks Craig; there's some interesting bikes in the background there too, must have been a good meet.

Thanks for posting Craig, obviously my bikes have been influenced by Koorn's bike and Colin's.
I wonder if the fairing stripes were a nod to the standard s2 fairing stripes? They are nicely done.
I'd really like to get hold of a Mille seat and base. Looks less like a plank.

Who knew GM had a Mille?
