By design I mean an idea or "style". My Ducati does not include non-functional "bling-only" parts and ergonomics in the design. As it has been said, the pics shown look like a V-max which has been around since the '80's. (with most of the parts you listed)

I just got this emailed to me from the guy who sold me my SF from the Ducati Dealership....

It's got an 11 degree testastretta, ride by wire, and a grand total of 40 degrees of lean angle!!!
