Stock MV fueling can be an issue. Easily fixed with a Microtec from X-Bikes and a dyno tuner. I can say I have had Ducati's with crap fueling too. My S4RS has a sneeze randomly at around 2-3k. And my 1098 did as well, could not get rid of it with a Microtec and tons of dyno time. My 848 racebike sucked as well (super jerky on/off) and went with a Nemesis. Now its great.
I can deal with needing a tune vs a bike that handles wonky, and has a motor that is unusable below 3K rpm. New Ducati's are better but still not great...
No matter what you do the SF and Monster handles like shit compared to a Tuono or Brutale 1090RR.
Not hating on Ducati guys so don't flame me, Love them... Just can't figure out why they can not make a proper naked sport bike. If they could I would own one in a second.
