SF mod. First up: Monster headlamp.

Hi guys,

As I'm planning to start a SF project this fall, my first idea was to replace the headlamp with a Monster lamp.

I've seen someone make the switch the other way around (SF lamp on a Monster) - but not what I'm planning on.

Wondered if anyone in here have tried it, and had any experience of it?

Here a poor image manipulation I did that shows the general idea.

I was going to but the lines of the SF cry out for a pointed lamp and not the monster one.
Best one I thought of doing was a superduke R

I like it. I never did like the headlight arrangement of the SF, especially from the side, looks like it has a runny nose.

Will you have to totally swap out all the instruments?

Not a fan of that, but you should forge ahead if you like it! That is the most important aspect of modifying

There's quite afew guys that have installed the old style round head light on 696/796/1100 and evo monsters which look very nice but I personally don't think that a round head light will suit a streetfighter.
It's only my two cents so please don't shoot me.

Why not just get a Monster to begin with? I just picked up my first SF848 (not my first Duc though), I love the headlight!

Maybe, just maybe because they ride differently
