TuneECU as a tuning solution anyone?

I just stumbled across the tuneecu app for android. It apparently works to flash tunes for StreetFighters for only $12.

Anyone have any experience with it?

Hmm, quite interesting. I wonder if it does stuff like reset service light and TPS.

Yep and the Street Triple and Daytona 675's. Only with the pre 2013 model years though. The ECUs are still locked for the new ones. I'll have to check this out for my SF848. Thanks!

Poked around on the tunecu website and this looks like something new for the Streetfighter (as of March '15). I used tuneecu for my Daytona and Street Triple 675. Easy to use and lots of options. Unfortunately I don't have an Android phone and most people I know don't either.

What a coincidence. I just got am Samsung Android tablet for Christmas and it has blu tooth. I might be interested in using this app if it's easy and has known good maps to try.

Does anyone known how and where your original stock map is copied and stored? Just in case you want to go back to it if the available maps don't work well with your bike.

In my experience tuneecu is easy and intuitive.

You should be able to backup your current map, at least I was able to with my Triumphs.

On their website they have three maps that don't have a specific exhaust associated with them, so those may be the stock maps. The multiple versions may be because Ducati updated their maps, but I'm speculating. That was the case with Triumphs.

When you install the app it creates a Tuneecu directory. When you download your original map you save it there giving it whatever file name you wish. This is also where the map must be to upload it to the ECU.
