FYI, Ontario plates don't have the same bolt pattern as the smaller US plates, so you should look for a Canadian bracket. Alternatives are to mount a strip of metal with the correct hole spacing onto the bracket, then attach the plate to that, or drill the fender and mount it direct (which is how mine is). Just note that the plate will follow the slightly convex curve of the fender when you tighten the bolts, but it's barely noticeable. I suppose I could have mounted an extra nut under the plate to avoid this, but I was in a rush to get it going and I never looked back.
