Wink 848 Oil

I was thinking about purchasing the bulk Pep Boys 10w30 oil and using it in my ex-ama spec 848. Go...

Cheap Oil...+1

I think it's a great idea to own/operate high quality, expensive machinery and then go "Charlie cheap ass" on the oil. This is a whole new angle for lowering the expenses associated with having a two wheeled Italian girlfriend.

Now Go.......

What you have to remember with viscosity is it's not just for the motor, it's for the gearbox as well.
Only a dummy would put thin oil in there.
Bonaventure, Bob T and 58 burst like this.

2000 853
2007 Cagiva Mito.
1980 and 1978 Ultra lightweight Yamaha SR500 Cafe Racers
1967 500cc Ultra lightweight Triumph Daytona Cafe Racer

Agreed.
Especially with a 90 degree L-Twin considering the nature of the power pulses.
It's only an 848 though
