I cleaned the garage out (well I started 2 years ago)
I used up all the not so good chain lubes that salespeople recommended and were crap to undercoat the Wifeys Jeep for the winter....

Bad decisions make for good stories
Take my Advice, I don't use it.

That's funny; I just did the same to my GF's Jeep, and mine w/ this stuff. They also recommend it for chain lube.

I have 'O' ring chains so I don't need to lube them.

It's called a bloody oil GALLERY!

Unfortunately, this only addresses the interior parts of the chain.

Ive been using Maxima wax for years. No fling & available in plenty of stores.

Hmmm, I didn't even realize that the old Dupont blue can formula had changed until I happened on this thread. I've been using the blue can all along for the past 4-5 years, on 2 multistradas, and 2 dirt bikes. Got no complaints, the stuff has really made my chain maintenance super easy. Just spray it on liberally and wipe it off every few weeks.

Yep, chain lube threads are just like oil threads. Everyone has their own favorite product and regimen that works for them, which is fine.
