For daily riding its Shoei Neotec, for light fun through the canyons its Shoei X11. I do prefer modular for daily use plus it has the buit in sun visor. Great for those that were specs

Found out 25 years ago I have a medium long oval head, so Arai it is.

Nothing else is ever as comfortable.

Long oval head for me also. Aria discontinued my beloved Profile. Found the new Bell Star to work very well. The new Arai Signet and Signet X are too close to my mouth and nose. Large in the Signet X and XL in the Bell Star.

I'm 3 months into purchasing the Bell Race Star Ace Cafe and I love it....
My only issue was with the shield and lack of opening detents...its either all the open or all the way closed, with a slight crack for "ventilation".

I removed both hinges...bolted them together to make sure they remained symmetrical and round filed two additional notches the same size & depth as the factory detents a quarter of the way up the hinge and another just under the halfwaypoint.

Now I have two additional shield positions for added airflow and ventilation, while still having my eyes protected by the shield.
Took just over a half hour..but made all the difference in the world.

I use full face helmets, and recommend everyone use only such type of helmet for your safety.

Is it true, that in the some states in USA you can ride without helmet at all? I think it is just uncomfortable, not to mention safety.
