Ducati "special" bike clarification

I know Ducati released the newest "special" Panigale v4 as the Ducati 916 tribute bike, however I am puzzled.

Given everyone has been posting this exact phrasing: 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 25 Anniversario 916

However a just standard 2019 Ducati Panigale v4 is just listed with a 90 desmosedici motor.

Did Ducati produce a 25 V-4 engine for this bike? Or why are they claiming 25??

25 means "25th" in this case. Not degrees.

seen it before. Italians do it, obviously. it's like euro countries using a decimal instead of a comma for numbers above 999.

And they would say today is 14/7/2019.
Not 7/14/2019 like I expect.

As others have pointed out, that would be incorrect. Anyways, your question has been answered. You are welcome.

I wondered the same thing, actually. I ended up piecing it together.

It is very common all over the world.

And the "world" is much bigger than America. 😏
