Any word on a larger tank?

Picking up my black 1100s tomorrow. Only thing I'm not looking forward to are the fill-ups. I did a search but can't find anything regarding larger aftermarket tanks. I called ca-cycleworks, as Chris has made a larger tank for the MH900E and almost has the larger Monster tank on the market. He said he would put the dough out to make a larger Hypermotard tank after he had about 30 signed up to purchase them. Anyone interested in this other then me?

Here's the MH900E info:

Just my .02. If I had a 40 gallon tank I think I would still be pulling over about every 100 miles to take a break anyway. The tank size does not affect me at all. Most of the time the guys on sport bikes I ride with only have about 30 more miles in their tanks and are happy to pull over and fill up when I have to.

Need more people to move forward... I was number 6 and they need 20...

As for bigger tank All I need .5 gallons as most rides comes really close and I've run out 4 times now.. aside from that... the bike super comfortable... dont need/want to stop every 100 miles all depends what type of roads your riding

14k to date on my hyper.... cant wait to hit 20k...

Let's just start a list here and when it reaches critical mass we can shoot a link to Chris.

Interesting, but where is it going to go? If you remove the airbox and install filter pods you could get some room, but as it is we have a cosmetic shell around the tank. We do have the small tool compartment to give up but where else?

i doubt those tanks are gonna be cheap! id say just make it work with pod filters only, i mean if youre already gonna spend the $...

A bit of the wings or go up a bit. Plenty of room there.

Count me in for two.

I was looking at his website. Not only does the tank look factory the instructions for installation are first class. This appears to be a quality operation. Go to the website and email him to encourge him to build a bigger tank.

I agree 100 mile range is sufficient for most rides, but I find myself less willing to explore new and more remote roads due to the very limited capacity.

I just noticed this was my 100th post! What do I get?
