Just wondering whats the best time of year to get the best deal at a dealership?? When do the new models start coming out?

I've decided as a cost saving measure to remove the baffles from the stock 2002 748 exhaust rather than buy a slip on set at this time. The kit is built by Vance and Hines. Is there a chip available that will work with this? Do i need one? There are numerous eprom chips available online that refer to 'open exhaust'.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

FWIW, the exhaust is stock front to rear, wrapped in heat wrap.

I just noticed after one year of registering, that I need to post in
welcomes and introduction.

I am 54 yrs old living in Lawton Ok.
I had my 2006 749 since Sep 2010, it only has 2k miles
on it. I picked it up in NC and drove it directly home to Ohio, since I had a
surgery and personal matters and didn't ride it much, I try to get it out once and while to keep it working.

I want to post a question in superbike forum about my cooling fans not
coming on. There is not any good description or diagnostic in the manual and
the Duc dealer is 150 miles away.

Here is my bike :
It has new battery and Michelins. I don't ride it much just clean and
maintain it. It doesn't stall at all and runs well.
I want to do a new chain and the red DP Course mirrors, I just had the
radiator welded, not so pretty but it is not leaking. Then I discovered my
cooling fans not coming on and I don't have a clue what to do, I will
probably put the manual switch on for now until I figure it out.

Before any says duplicate thread I couldn't find the other one with this app

Decided to use up some di-noc i had kicking about on my plastic mudguard extension until more aftermarket matt ones are released

I want to let forum members know a little something about Paul from DD...
He offers some beautiful stuff on his site...with no warnings as to the consequences as to the purchase...
I have the DD dual headlamps coming in...I ordered them today...And I get a shipping notice from USPS they are in the process of being shipped...well that just tears it...beautiful stuff...fast shipping...next thing I will hear is he is a great guy and babies love him and stuff...!!!

I also ordered the laser chain alignment tool...he probably combined shipping on that item also...the rat!!!
Thats two items he took the time to deal with on a Holiday weekend!!!

dose anyone know if the rear speed pickup on the 848 picks up a magnet in the wheel or just each spoke as it passes the pick up

Just arrived in the NC mountains from Florida. The handling is outstanding in the tight stuff (which we have very little of in FL) and the torque lets you blast out of corners :D. This is going to be a lot of fun. The biggest problem will be keeping the speeds down...

Question, is there a good and proper way to get some music going while driving the long bits... I have a shark evoline 3 series..

shark supplies shark tooth bluetooth, but for a 200 euro's which i personally find a bit much. is there a cheaper way of listening to radio / phone while driving?

i'm not looking for a communication system (always drive alone) but if there is a good option. i wouldn't mind either.

I've been looking for a new Arai Corsair V Haga Fire & Ice (red or black) in a small or medium for a while now and can't seem to locate one.

Anyone know if any vendors have one left? Checked many many many vendors/websites and can't seem to find one, only the monza and wsbk rainbow version.

it seems to be "COIL 11.2 Vertical cylinder coil error"

Any ideas?
