a license plate bracket that attaches at the front of the sub-frame pan and hangs down in front of the battery
|
do you have pics of that? I've removed my battery and am trying to decide between a "standard" tag bracket and the "tucked" one..
also, how would someone go about ordering one of these trick new light kits? .. I don't see anything on that page telling how to do that.

I think I found pics of the under seat tag mount here... but not sure what it would look like from the side or front with the battery removed.
It would also help to see how it's mounted inside the underseat tray.. to see if it's possible to hack it to use the regulator/rectifier mounts instead of drilling holes through the bottom of the underseat tray, and also to see how it might conflict with a battery mounted in the tray.

I just added some contact info...... basically just email me. PAK BIKES does not have online ordering. Being a "Legend In My Own Mind", I just assumed that everyone knew how to contact me.
Here is a link to an image showing BOTH license plate setups and HERE is a link showing just the tucked version..
Installation instructions are HERE. Page 3 shows how the tucked version is installed.

See previous reply. There should NOT be any conflict with anything in the plastic sub-frame pan. The ONLY thing that is actually inside the sub-frame pan is two #8-32 screws and fender washers. I think the installation instructions show this. Previous reply has the link to the instructions.

Do you have pictures outside in daylight? I was wondering on daytime visibility...
I really liked the "tucked" version, but here in Florida the LEOs love to give tickets on them... they are using the "tag inside vehicle" offense... My buddy was popped $140.00 for having the tag over hi rear tire hugger on his Triumph....

When asking a Ducati owner if he had any problems with his bike, his response was:
"The only problem I've had is attractive women divesting themselves of their clothing and rubbing their naughty bits on my leg while they lick the gas tank. Makes it hard to pull away from a red light,...... sometimes."

I don't have any "daytime" pics.... Not much help anyway because they don't really tell the story. The original FLEDA Single Row Systems only had 40 RED LEDs spread over the space of about 4.75 inches for brake and tail function and never had any complaints. The FLEDA-SR-Lite has 50 RED LEDs spread over the space of 12 inches. These LEDs are VERY bright.
There is a 30 day "no questions asked" return policy if you decide you don't like the system. You only pay the return shipping.
Thanks
Phil

I like the look! I also like your original system. However, I have bags on the bike and thought the bag would block the turn signal signal LED. It appears the the SR-Lite has an arrary of LED's used on each side for the turn indicator. Is there a video showing the SR-Lite in operation?

Hey Bruce,
Look near the bottom of the FLEDA-SR-Lite page. There is a QuickTime Video
The entire FLEDA-SR-Lite is made up of a single 12" - 100 LED Array made up of 50 AMBER and 50 RED LEDs alternating in color. I am using all 50 RED LEDs for brake and tail light function and 20 AMBER LEDs on each side for the turn signal functions.

+1 for Phil!
Trust me people. Phil's products are second to none and his customer service is even better.
I purchased a used bike with a dual row FLEDA. Turns out this was one of the first revs of the Watsen design. I wanted the wiring changed so Phil rewired the unit for me at no charge! Now how is that for customer service?
Keep doing what you do Phil!
