There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding these wheel sets. These Alpina Wheels will ONLY fit Ducati Monsters with a Dual Swing Arm setup. They will NOT fit OTHER models of Ducati motorcycles.

sorry for any confusion!

And no chance these would work on a Sport 1000 Mono?

I find that strange because the Monster wheels for the dual sided swing arm, depending on the year, will fit some Supersport bikes. On the '99 and up SS, the rear axle is 17 mm and the front is 25 mm. The widths of the wheels are identical. The cush drive, brakes, etc, are identical also.

We find a lot of things "strange" when dealing with Alpina BUT they are telling us that their Naked Monster Wheels only fit the Monster. In fact Alpina needs to know the model year for any order because of differences in the axle sizes from year to year. That's what they are telling us and that's what we have to go on. If someone wants to order a set and put them on another bike its their responsibility and there would be no returns.

Another GT owner here who is interested. Currently swaying between a set of 999 wheels and the Alpina wheels. Sale pricing will help the decision.
