Legs closed or spread...?
I was riding along last week on my way to work. The highway turned and I had the rising sun on my back. As I looked at my elongated shadow that was now before me, I realized something.... I ride legs spread!
So I figured... How many of us, ride legs spread, as opposed to legs together gripping the tank when just cruising?

When I am on long straightaways running 70 + mph just trying to get where I am going, my knees tend to push out from the tank too. In fact, if I run a long enough distance my inner thigh muscles start getting tight. For some reason when I am riding more relaxed it just seems to do this on this bike.
When I am in the corners or riding more aggressively, it doesn't seem to happen.
Out!

This is pretty funny. I just noticed the same thing a few days ago when I caught sight of my shadow. Weird.

It has to do with the motard riding position.
I ride my husky sm610 with my legs all over the place...
Superbike ergos are more conducive to a tuck though.

Edit: I didn't realize I started the thread. Sorry guys, I guess too much PBR is a bad thing.
