HYM1100 vs HYM1100EVO

Here's dyno graph showing a stock HYM1100, HYM1100 with full Termi system, stock HYM1100 EVO SP and HYM1100 EVO SP with full Termi system.

So the hyper standard 1100 has more torque than the evo sp with full system and the hyper 1100 with full system is 1.5 hp less than the evo above 7200 revs but has 3.2 ft/lbs more torque
Maybe our dual spark engines are better

remember the evo has a lighter flywheel stock and the old hyper doesnt.it will move the torque curve up more. plugs has nothing to do with power

Didnt say it did, the evo has the 848 crank as well.
But the hype from ducati about the new evo is just marketing bullshit if you ask me.
What I was tring to say was that maybe 2 spark plugs are better than one in a air cooled motor.
Ducati made a big deal about the dual spark motor as much to say it was more effecient being that it was dual spark, then they turn round and say the evo is better with one spark plug.

If you ask me the they went back to one spark plug for economic reasons to keep costs down.

Either way the old dual spark has more torque according to that graph and if it had the light weight fly wheel and 848 crank it would spank the evo

It might be cost efficient, but the redesigned combustion chamber doesn't really need two plugs to get the same effect. The older design couldn't be improved without 2 plugs

Well, explain the graphs that have been posted then, unless that crappy siemens ecu is to blame.
The evo engine is is not up to par with the dinosaur ds engine
