exhibition of speed

Been a while since I posted. Kind of having to recover. Was stopped by the CHP in South San Francisco, while riding a wheelie on highway 101 going south by Candlestick park. I've had the hyper since '08 and a clean CDL for the last 10 years. That all came to an end.
I went to court for this misdimeanor, and tried to beg mercy. Lawyer wanted 5k to rep me so I thought how much worse can it be? I'll just beg.
DA read the police report, Mr Berndt, observed doing a wheelie south bound on hwy 101 for a 1/4 mile @ 85mph. I thought to myself jeez what a gift, I was probably doing over a 100 and it was closer to a half mile but hey.

Judge looks at me and narrows her eyebrows. Oh shit, my balls go sumo.
Mr Berndt you are reckless, and I will not reduce this from exhibition.
I beg, plead and kneel to no avail. I get to keep my license, Just barely.
3 thousand dollar fine, 1 year of probation, and 2 points on my license.
Boom, done, ouch.
Don't feel compelled to ruide wheelies on the freeway any more
Good luck gents, don't do like I did.

Feel your pain.... was riding with a friend and stranger just met in San Diego....the three of us was coming off of a corner and doing about 55 in 45... Harbor police woman going the other direction hits her lights but had to go in the other direction for about 1/2 mile before she could turn around. The duc in front of me ran....I kept going to the first corner, looked over my shoulder to see if she had turned around. She was coming hot with lights and siren so I pulled over and waited for her..... she came screaming in, gun drawn, dragged me to the ground. Sat me up and put me on the curb.... she said" I was doing over 100 mph trying to catch you" I said " I was stopped waiting for you! How does that work?" She said "Oh you are going to be trouble, eH? Holding her gun. I said "No ma'am" She wrote me for CRIMINAL Exhibition of Speed, Failure to Obey a lawful order (running from the cops) I said "HOW the hell could I be running from you when I was stopped waiting for you?" She said "say it to the court" and then wrote another ticket for Criminal Speed in Excess of 100MPH..........

WTF!!!!

Another trip over plead it down with a public defender.... down to criminal exhibition of speed, $700 and 3... yes 3 years probation! I have never felt so wronged in my life!

Then I thought about the shiate I have gotten away with and guess it was my time....I am almost over it now!

In Arizona, they just write you for Reckless Driving for a wheelie. Impound the bike and haul you off to jail.

Don't ask me how I know this......

I thought having a hyper would decrease a cops wanting to pull you over vs a japanese sport bike. I guess not but why would one want to do over 100 mph on the city streets or freeway anyway. Take it to the track.

I'm so lucky I don't know how to wheelie my 105hp modified Hyper. (Yes, I know, that's pathetic)

Ya, F'n ridiculous. I'll never understand fellow bikers that rationalize the cops side of this crap. It is a F'n wheelie and if you want to kill yourself doing one, so be it. I have seen many wheelies in my life and few have hurt anybody except the motorcyclist doing the wheelie...For this angry feminist judge to hammer you like that, for something so inconsequential, is nothing short of criminal.

How much you wanna bet she was a liberal Democrat?...Ya, you heard me.

You don't know how to whack the throttle open in second gear?

Do you know how to start the motorcycle?
