to delete O2 sensors or to not delete O2 Sensors

ok, so i am about to reflash my ECU in the next few days with a protune. I just finished installing a full system and will be putting on the hyper stacks tomorrow. So, should i leave the ecu closed loop or open loop? what are the benefits/disadvantages of each option?
Thanks!

go open loop...this allows you to delete the sensors..and open loop allows you to fully tune in all rpm range.

If you got an '07-'09 Hyper, go for an open loop.

Buy a DP ECU and you'll be in business.
If you want to fully take advantage of an open loop, you should consider adding a piggyback system like a Power Commander
If you want the best, get in touch with Ducshop or Desmoworks for a Microtec or Nemesis ECU.

If you have a 2010 or 2011 bike (evo or evo sp), so far you are stuck in a closed loop, even with a DP ECU.

I have a 2010.... and Chouch you are correct that i am stuck in a closed loop..... BUT with the protune (which is the same map as the DP full race ecu) you can still get add a power commander and tune in all rpm ranges. I am told though that with the siemens ECU, i will not need to piggyback a power commander as the ECU does do some adjusting as necessary.... thus why it can only be closed loop.

So is this confirmed? The new siemens ECU can only be run closed loop?

so i have the protune on my evo sp. both sensors deleted and un plugged
custom map for my exhaust and stacks created by the boys at pro-tune

no pc or other device , dyno'd at ducati melbourne , protune made me 4 maps till we were happy with the afr.(as the beast R stack added so much air)...gained 11 rwhp and some torques from my base stock map...bike pulls insane, love it....
