Ruminating on a new project:A (better) Carbon Hypermotard
I know carbon hyper has been done before, but I think I can make this one look really good and i'm itching for a new project..
I'm also aware of how I just made her into a Xerox replica... but I like to see my baby in a new dress. (will keep the xerox bodywork + custom seat and switch it out when i get bored again)
I'm thinking full carbon bodywork, with some flat black paint/pin stripes strategically applied... I love the black paint on carbon look. I would also switch to a sargent seat with the red pinstripe which would echo the red frame.
my concern would be how to make the carbon weave match on the tail/tank/beak... a few vendors sell some of the parts, but not all of them together (for example, the mini-fairing that goes above the headlight is only sold by a few vendors).
any suggestions or master-photoshop artists care to have a crack at a mock-up? I'd like to see how red frame (and red rizoma accents) with gold wheels fit with carbon bodywork... too much perhaps?
I'm attaching a pic of "baby xerox" as she stands now...

Maybe some gold detail to go with your rims. Not exactly like this Monster but maybe inspired from it. My 2 cents.

Our photocopier always jams.
At least now you have a unique Hyper, even though you're a CopyCat.
Leave it as is, there are far too many Carbon Hypers in the world.

look,
the problem here is that I need a project to be working on at all times.
Maybe I need to turn the 749R into a radical cafe racer... not sure... just need SOMETHING work on and I'm not ready to buy a new bike yet. argh!
