New Addition
As much fun as the Hyper is on the track I wanted a "true" track bike.

Very nice. How would you rate your 749 experience so far?

I almost pulled the trigger on a 2005 red 749 with 215 miles on it but my gut told me to get the hyper instead (as my primary bike).
Beautiful bike. How many miles and how long have you had it? What do you think the 2005 I mentioned above should sell for?

So far the 749 is great. Turn-in on the 749 is amazing, plus moving from side to side is effortless and I mean effortless. The bike is built for cornering. Completely uncomfortable at slow speed and supremely comfortable at speed (moderate street speed, no track time yet). Just about the opposite of the Hyper. Although as we know the Hyper corners very well.
As soon as I get track plastics and new tires I'll report the track experience but I can already tell that it's going to be great.

As a primary bike I'd stay with a Hyper. If you want PM me with the details and I'll let you know how it compares to mine.

Looking good...are you going try to get it to the Absolute Day @ Lightning on 10/30? I'm going, haven't had the Hyper on the track the since doing the exhaust etc. Hopefully the warm weather will hold...

If I'm in town and the weather looks good I'll be there. Are you bringing both bikes?

There's nothing better than having a track only bike and your daily rider too. That away if and when you dump the track bike you can take your time and put it back together and still have a nice everyday bike to ride.... Ask me how I know hahaha
