New Yoyodyne Clutch Slave
I recently installed a new Yoyodyne clutch slave and had to tell you that there isn't a bit of difference aside of bling factor. I normally wouldn't have purchased one of these because I don't think the stock clutch pull is an issue however I went to the ECS open house a couple weeks ago and entered a raffle and won this item. I figured hey, it was free might as well install it. After installing and bleeding, no difference in lever pull, I think it is has a smoother pull but that really could be in my head and the other slave might have been the same with some finite bleeding. I didn't get technical and use a tension gage before and after but I have been riding long enough to know when the clutch pull is lighter or harder.
That is all, don't waste your money :-)

Is it a 30mm clutch slave? If is is, it has to be a little easier. Aloha Alex

I removed to clutch springs and mounted a spyder retainer to keep things as equal as possible on the clutch. I might be wearing the clutch faster, but they pull is easier and the downshifts are a bit smoother. WIthout the two springs, you get a very slight slipper action on downshifts similar to if you feathered the clutch out on downshifts.
I havn't noticed any shipping on acceleration. I frequently wonder why ducati needs so many clutch springs on a 80 hp stock bike?

I noticed a pretty decent improvement in feel with the Yoyodyne slave. Do you have aftermarket springs?

I have an Evoluzione slave cylinder and they make two sizes and I got the larger one, and I did feel a difference in pull. I also noticed that my left forearm looks like "Popeye's" compared to my right one!
