Question Mwr filters

Hi all just a question on mwr filters. I have a full airbox lid type which I intended to fit to my 1100s, along with a full zard penta and pcv. When I have stripped down bike and fitted exhaust, i am a little worried about fitting the filter as regards water ingress, with it being quite exposed at the front of the bike, as i live in the uk and ride in the rain. Has anyone had any experience with the full lid filter. I have read the posts on this forum but nobody has mentioned this. I wondered if i would be better with a smaller mwr filter which fits in the airbox lid. If i went down this route what would the likely power gains be. I have had the bike dynoed as stock with 83hp at rear wheel. I will be using same dyno room. Any advice would be welcombe.

Many thanks Luca.

I dont have pods but others recommend filter SOCKS to keep water out.

Another airbox question?
