Question DP performance ECU

I would like to have information about the DP ECU ( the one that comes in the Cam kit)

1st: Does it enable the o2 sensor and convert the systems into an open loop.
(some say yes some say no. What's the real story)

2nd: does it enable the exhaust valve ?

3rd: what can be set on a DP ECU and How ( fuel tab ? Advance? wich tool needed ? ) is it like a microtech, but you need to go to the dealer each time ?

For the '07-'09 1100 hypers ECU
1) Stock Part # 286.4.156.1C
2) Slip-on = 8% more fuel, programmable on/off O2 sensor & exhaust valve
Part # 96519308B = 2-1-2 pipe
3) Full system = 8% more fuel, no O2 sensor, no exhaust valve
Part # 96518708B = 2-1 pipe
4) Full sys w Cams = 18% more fuel, no O2 sensor, no exhaust valve
Part # 96519208B =2-1 pipe

The DP cams ECU is a "open loop" system, you will no longer need the O2 sensor or the exhaust valve. It is the best performing & richest ECU DP makes. You will have to do a TPS reset (by dealer) after the install. Aloha Alex

But is it mapable

Thank's for your answer.
So its an open loop systems fine
But is it a fix mapping that you can not modify ?
exemple Cam ECU=18% more rich everywhere that's all no fuel and advance configuration possible ?

you can modify the base mapping on the various DP race ECUs with VDST software/hardware kit.

Thank's !
i just read the information on the VDST, and have a few question.
I see that you can do a fuel trim from -128 to +127 % but it seems to be a fix value. It don't look like you can tune a specific spot (tps,RPM,Fuel) i also see that you can read the information on advance, but it seems to be non adjustable. Is it ?
Last question. Can you trim a Standard non DP ECU.If i remember well its not suppose to work, but with a Tuneboy you can remap a standard ECU. So is it possible? If its posible to map a standard ECU, Can you diseable the O2 sensor and exhaust valve with that tool?

I see the VDST more like a maintance tool than a tuning tool is it right ?

no fuel trim with VDST on standard ECU

I just find a part of the answer :no fuel trim with VDST on standard ECU ( The Ecu will reject it)

With the Hyper, this is basically correct. I have the VDST for my Hyper and have had it for other bikes and what can be tweaked depends on the manufacturer and bike. The only "tuning" you can do on the Hyper is idle fuel trim (note it's IDLE fuel trim adjustment and has little/no effect over 3000 rpm). The A/F adjustments in the software are "grayed out" (aka not available for the Hyper). You can, however, reset TPS, reset maintenance wrench, clear DTC's, and perform a slew of real-time diagnostics on the Hyper.

Basically the map is a fixed map, no changes to the actual fuel map or timeing can be made unless you add a device like a PC. Aloha Alex
