Question Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact

Anyone used these on their Hyper or similar?

Looking for a new rear rubber for Katie, been offered one of these but have always had Michies and Pirellis.

Only got 4000 km from my Michie Pilot Raod 2 CT.

Any (useful) input would be welcome.

Thanks gents.

If it helps.....Metzeler is owned by Pirelli and they typically have the same compound characteristics.

I've run the previous renditions of that tire on R1s and such and really liked them.

Did you put on the Metzeler M5's? How do you like them?

I used them on my ST3S for a trip to Deals Gap. They are a good tire but not one of my favorites. Despite all the ad hype about quick warm up I found them to be a little slippery until well warmed up. But then good. I thought the steering was a bit slower than other tired I've used. I only put about 2500 miles on them before I pulled them off and would guess they only had maybe another 1000 to1500 miles left in them.*And the front seemed to be wearing at the same rate as the rear. To be honest I prefer the Z8 even when pushing it in the twisties.

I've got the Michelin Power Pures on my Monster and 999 and they are awesome! Best sport tire I've ever ridden and the even last longer for me.
