Plexiglass shield for the 796
I have looked through the site but I have not found much regarding the plexiglass windshield for this bike. Is it worth investing in and is there some wind deflection advantage with having it versus not. Any opinion will be welcome.

I have one, used it twice. I was surprised on how well it does work, excellent for it's size. I did remove it as I prefer the look without and mainly do city riding. I am going to post it for sale I think.

did you find that it helps reduce the wind on you while riding the freeway? Any cracking problems with it? Sent pm.

Just general info for others, I did not have any cracking issues at all, although I only had it on for about 200 miles. The peice seems really sturdy and well made, I wonder if others torqued it down too tight?

I never had any problems with mine either, and I typically gorilla-torque everything.
Mine just proved to be weak against your typical "Hapkido" move....
