Anybody using Bazzaz for HM aplication
Hi !
I would like to have your input about a Bazzaz Fi for HM aplication.
I know that it seems to work good on SF but i don't find any report of that product on a HM.
I want to put an SC project 2-1 or 2-2 with a Duckshop intake kit, and i will need an ECU or mapping system to match the mods.
At first i was looking for a Microtec, but i receive some bad feedback from people that have use the Microtec then reverse for Bazzaz product on SF.So if i don't have any Big advantage with a Microtech, i'll go with the Bazzaz.
An other point is that i whant to put the same systems on both bike ( HM and SF) that way it will be easier to learn the software and do a good job, plus i can bought one autotune and use it to develop a mapping for each bike.
I think that's its the most cost effective way to get rid of those injection trouble. My preference would have been a Tuneboy, but they do it for the SF but not for the HM. I have one on my SXV and it do marvel on it.
sorry for the long story, but anyway if you have any input for Bazzaz HM please let me know
Thank's !

Thank's for the reply Desmo, but $995.00 is a lot of money just to be able to have acces to your ECU. I'm sure that its superior to a Bazzaz, but only a cable with a software ( like Tuneboy) will do the trick for much less ( if it were available).Last what is the difference beetween a Microtec ( $899.00) and your's ($999.00) what will be the advantage with your's ?
Please let me know

Nobody use Bazzaz HM here ??????
Nobody use Bazzaz HM here ??????
I'm Surprise, who buy them thought?
your tought similar to PC V, better, worst ?
I was pretty minded to go Microtech or Nemesis, but some bad review ( lot of problem and at a $1000 in my mind it have to work)make me look at other less expensive product like Bazzaz.Even more since i have great result with a Fatduc.Maybe i don't have to put so much money to do the job.If Tuneboy will do a software for the HM, it will be my choice, but they don't.My future set up will be an SC project,Ducshop air filter and some kind of ECU/software to keep my engine happy. So does Bazzaz able to handle that, or i'm i better to go Microtec from Ducshop, they make the stack kit , so they certainly have a good map to go with it.
What do you think of all this shit ?

Just get a DP Race ECU and bring it to a good Duc tuner. I have the SC-Project 2-1 and the DucShop stacks w/Race ECU. Brought the bike European Cycles Services ( Home : European Cycle Services) who did the TPS reset and adjusted the intakes etc. and got 93HP on the dyno.
Price of the tuning, dyno run and race ECU cheaper than other options and the bike pulls like a freight train...

Would like to be able to do a simple DP ecu reflash
I would like to have a simple and effective solution, like your DP ecu, but we don't have any great tuner (even good tuner) around here that can do a good job.I don't know if they can only do a simple TPS reset corectly. They don't on my Aprilia, that's why i bought a Tuneboy for it. So i don't whant to depend from a Ducati Dealer who don't know what to do on my bike.Experience show me that i'm better to buy the tool and take the time and good advise to do it myself. And i won't be dependant of a dealer that will charge me each time they practie their skill on my bike.At the end i'm sure that my result, cost and lost times will pay for the fifference in pricing. But the question is : do i need a Microtec or Nemesis, or only a Tuneboy ( the tool to reflash my stock ecu, similar to what you've done : IE tuner dowloading a good map in your DP ECU)wil do good.... Bazzazz is even cheaper and i think it will work, but i don't like the spliccing, and all the trouble to install it and the fack that you had other stuff over the ECU.............

heu... oops i mismatch bt HM & SF
OOps !!

Sorry Tuneboy don't have a solution for the HM ( this one is for my SF) so forget about the Tuneboy parts, its not aplicable. I think i'll go back to sleep
so i'm back with Bazzaz or Microtec for the HM $399.00 vs $895.00
Ducshop have the right map for my bike , Bazzaz don't
Maybe a shop can sold me a DP ECU with the right map, but i will need to go to a dealer for the tps and all.........???
what will you do with that?
