Do they sell the Hyper EVO Termi ECU
I have looked all over and only find the ECU for the 08-09 models. Anyone know where and what price the DP ECU for the EVO is?

Let me guess, with Siemens stock ECU for 796 running at 1.645$, I'd say the DP ECU alone for a 1100 EVO is at least 1.6k
Sad to see Ducati goes this way to force you to buy Termignoni stuff...
Even more sad when you compare the quality of Termignoni with Arrow or Zard...

I would not pay 1 $ for it, because it is worthless, ;-(

Yes it is and yes they are. ( LV also)
Thats exactly why I bought the DP manifold kit , to get the ECU , and Im keeping my Arrow manifold on the bike and the DP in the box.

I simply think its ridiculous that they want 2k+ for slip ons...... I have had Jap bikes and the Hyper being my first Italian bike and as far as performance I still cant justify spending 2K on a pair of slip ons yet alone 1300 for an ECU. I understand that there is less demand and therefore they jack up the prices, but going double compared to other aftermarket parts is down right legal stealing.
Maybe they would have more demand if prices were "normal"
Funniest ones are rearsets for this bike, I have seen them as high as $900 WTF Thats almost 3 times the price of any other rearsets for other bikes.
They should of left the bikes unaffordable as well, half the fun of owning a bike is customizing it.
As they say in Italy "ma vafanculo!!!!"

Even with extrem prices, the demand is high.
Someone in France was told last week that the termi 2-1 kit for EVO and EVO SP is backordered untill 2011.
Ducati wants you to buy from the DP catalog, therefore they make the DP ECU a must have and bundlle it with the Termi only.
If 900$ is the highest price you found for rearset, you need to dig more, the DP are almost 1.3k, and the levers in case of a crash are not available separatly.

I mostly think its back ordered cause of low production not high demand, if you notice you really dont see many people with Termis. Italians really dont care about customer service or having business with the US, they have all of Europe that uses their stuff and demands are higher there then here. I say this cause when I lived in Italy and was customizing scooters, the shops that carried parts were always fully stocked and full of items and full of customers, ALWAYS. If you ask me basically their way of thinking is that if you want my "Made in Italy" exhaust you gotta pay for it top dollar and while ur at it wait until my glorious balls decides to produce more. If you notice every part that you order being italian (even for scooters) takes a long amount of time.
A perfect example is that when Malaguiti scooters were here in the US, they didnt last long. I asked a dealer why, and their response was cause they are a pain in the ass to deal with, not the scooters but the Italian distributors/importers, same thing happened and is going on with Malossi performance parts.

$1335 for a closed loop ECU that will do nothing to solve the lean ridability issues. What a joke. Glad I got an '08.
Anthony,
What ever happened to the Siemans ECU reflash option?
