Took the Hyper off pavement
Today I went searching for some public legal dirt roads to try the Hyper out on. I had a WR250X before the Hyper, and that was a lot of fun on dirt roads. I knew the Hyper had it limitations, but I was surprised how well it did. These roads were dirt with rock beds here and there. The Pilot Pure's were definitely the weak link. Wish I had some Distanza's on instead
Here is a short GoPro video.

I liked that last bit at the end. Do You have bar risers? When I stand, I always wish Mi bars were 2 inches higher.

Very nice cruise! I got into some hills with mine and hated the street tread.

It requires a little fiddling to get it to fit. I had a machine shop drill out the engine bosses to accept screws as they are not predrilled as on the Multi. It does give me a lot more peace of mind knowing that I am less like to put a hole in the sump or filter.

Did few unpaved roads in VT and NH, it was fun but the bike really needs couple modifications :
1/ Risers for the bar. I'm 6 feet tall, and when I stand up,I find the bar too low.
2/ Front brakes, too strong and touchy
3/ Rear brake was my main concern, if I cant rely on my front brake, I'd like the rear brake to be usefull and not an on/off switch
4/ Obviously, better suited tires.
Every time it's a fun experience tho, but I feel really bad for the paintjob...
