The only thing I've read in the various posts is the 2-1-2 system sounds awesome. That doesn't mean the 2-1 system sounds bad. I would guess (and this is a guess) that the 2-1 would produce more torque at a lower RPM than the 2-1-2. Don't know if our seat of the pants dyno could tell the difference. Personally if I had the disposable income the dual system would be on my bike instead of my homemade 2-1 but $65 in parts and labor won out over $1700 SC Project

the sc dual system is a completly dual system not 2-1-2 there is a small ballance pipe between the two pipes but thats it. on the dyno my bike with the dual system made what indy ducati described as the best torque curve of any hyper they had run. which is what sc claimed that the dual system made a very high and wide torque curve.

IMHO the balance tube makes it a 2-1-2 but you are correct it doesn't run into a single pipe and then split back out.

Thanks it's definitely a gap filler, over the winter I plan due clone a SC dual system using some Yoshi or KR tuner or ????? cans from fleabay. The guy who helped with the current system says he's up for it and with no riding around here for 3 months or so the downtime doesn't matter. Ya I know I'm a whimp for not riding in the NC "winters" but hey I ride for fun not to see how much heater gear I can fit under my leathers...
