Lower bars or clip on's for the HM?
I'd like to get a bit more weight on the front and get out of the wind a bit more on my HM since I have started tracking it. I am wondering if the is a bar that is lower or a straight bar that will get me out of the wind a bit better. Think of a position a bit more akin to a Monster.
Anyone do this or am I the only weirdo thinking of this.
Thanks

Nope, I've been thinking about it too. I was thinking about getting some stock streetfighter bars, they have a little bit of a downward sweep to them. Any thoughts?

Do you know that they fit on the Hyper?
...I'm glad I'm not alone at being weird!

You shoul absolutely get some clip-ons, some nice really high rearsets and lower the suspension too.
That way you'll have a Streetfighter that's just not quite as quick.

Yep, missing it.

Clip-on's on a wanabee motard bike.
Why do everytime I read something fucked up like that it comes from Quebec ?
Any 28-22mm bar will fit the HM.
Some bars wont have enough room for the handguard setup tho.

I would put clipons on, add a taller double double track screen, put a low front guard on, put some raised rearsets, take off the hand guards, high pipes, SBK tail ......
Think you have to reassess what you bought the Hyper for in reality, these are after all a sit up position lower powered supermoto designed for twisties, wheelies and other stupid shit (than can be done much faster after a good coffee)
They ain't a high speed machine really which ever way you look at it.

Wow...bunch of smarta$$es...
Maybe you guys are ok with just posing at the cafe but I want to ride it. Yes, I'm coming off of a sport bike and yes, I find at the track it could use more clearance and to be a bit lower down. I'm not suggesting getting into a tuck, fellas...just a bit more weight forward and slightly lower.
