Galfer Race Sintered brake pads...

Yo.

Anyone using Galfer race sintered pads on their stock S rotors? Results? Thoughts?

Thanks!

i ran a set on my stock rotors (have since swapped out the stock rotors to galfer wave rotors).

on the stock rotors, the sintered galfer pads work nicely on the base model hypertard (not the mono block calipers). great initial bite, progressive feel, and no fade.

i did chamfer the leading edges on the pads prior to installing, and did not have any squeal from them. your milage may vary.

Thanks for the poop... wondering how they'll work with the mono blocks... guess I'll find out.

I have the Galfer pads with Galpher rotors, I had to get them because if you do not run their pads, Galpher won't warranty their rotors.

They work as well as any out there, but are EXPENSIVE, and seem to be a little hard on the rotors.

I bought some sintered pad on Ebay from a company called Sixty, they are well made, worked great, and were easy on the rotors, at 1/4 the price of the Galphers. Aloha Alex
