ECU / stacks question

Right now, I have an '08 standard Hyper with LeoVince end cans. Fueling is perfect - better even than my Triumph 1050 which has pretty darn good fueling as set up right now.

My only engine complaint (other than the missing reliable, cheap, fuel-efficient 40hp) is that I'd like a slightly wider powerband.

I've got the new sparkly medium tank on order from Chris, and I'm debating getting stacks to go with it.

But two things come to mind - can I still use the stock ECU (the occasional error light from the missing exhaust valve motor is annoying but not devastating), and (mostly) - should I mess with a good thing??

Inquiring minds want to know...

You dont have much to debate here.
I dont think the medium size tank is designed to work with the stock airbox, so you have to get stacks.
The only thing you should debate about is going for Ducshop, TPO or Wasp.

Couldn't I just use filters like the larger tank requires??

I guess you could, but that's kinda missing the point of the medium size tank. Why not going for the big tank then ?

Anyway, regarding ECUs. A friend is riding a stock ECU with cored exhaust and Ducshop stack, an he's perfectly happy about his bike.

Though, I think a DP ECU is the good way to go, especially if you top that with PC V

Why not get an ECU reflash and a Power comander, switch it to open loop, no more flapper valve errors - sorted.
