Hyper 796 front end? 'Soft?' What to do?

Hi,

First, I'm a street newbie (just a few months on the 796 now), thus I don't have previous street bike/exp to compare to.

When I'm riding on roads that are bit rough or I encounter little indentations (esp on corners) the front end seems soft/squirrely, in such a way that feels 'wrong'. A bit unstable, like it could/should be firmer and more stable. Does anybody else notice this, or is this just how street bikes are? I had read about something like this in almost all reviews, but I've no clue what the heck is going on. And if there is something to be done, what is the least costly?

FWIW, I weight 155lbs.

Thx for any advice/thoughts...

-Rob

No, all streetbikes dont feel like that. All hypers have a soft and vague front end, the 796 has a unadjustable fork so you can't really do anything with the stock front end. I would just wait until someone comes out with a cartridge kit for the forks and get that. it should make a world of difference. I am buying an 1100 Evo SP, that has different forks and I hear they work really well.
