Ducati Performance damper mount?

Hey Folks,

Anyone have the DP damper mounted? My top mount (bar part) broke (previous owner), and I don't have all the pieces to make up another one, so I was hoping I could ask for some measurements, a picture etc.

Looks like it might just be a flat piece of aluminum, but I'd like to confirm.

Also, nobody sells just the top mount alone. Bummer...

The DP damper is made by Gubellini, and as a UK distributor for Gubellini, maybe I can source this individual part.

In the picture, which part are you talking about?



Are you talking about the bracket from the handlebar mount to the damper rod end, or are you talking about the bracket from the ignition lock mount to the bottom of the damper clamp (difficult to see in the picture).

I can't guarantee to able to get the part (or give a price as yet), but at least I can ask!

Are you talking about the bracket from the handlebar mount to the damper rod end, or are you talking about the bracket from the ignition lock mount to the bottom of the damper clamp (difficult to see in the picture).

Thanks Sandbar - it's the part that goes from the handlebar mount to the end of the damper rod. I have the other pieces. Even if you can't find one, at least I know it's not a flat piece of aluminum (which means I'm not going to try to fabricate one). Please keep me posted.

They don't normally split the kits as they go to Ducati complete and Ducati are not interested in dealing with spare parts for these!!

I can get one of these brackets for you, but the quid pro quo for it is that they want pictures of the broken one - or even better the broken one returned. Then their design guys can look at it and see if there are any lessons that they can learn.

I will PM you with a price for the bracket!
