Yeah...I'm in Love

My hunt has ended, and I am grinnin ear to ear. I picked up new 09 1100 from Wagner Motorsports, good experience overall. Worked a deal with them late Thurs, Picked the bike up after work on Fri around 6 PM, and the fun begins.

Rode the bike home around 30 miles and am just out of my head, I had only briefly ridden one prior, I swear my bikes got a million more horsepowers and handles infinitely better, well maybe not, but it's mine !

Figure, my weekend is open, my pops is in NH BBQ'n Sat and Sun...I need some break in miles.... Leave the homestead around 7:30 for the ride, semi slab, semi backroads is about 150 miles and I am pumped to get going.

Had an awesome ride, bike ran like a top. I come from a 999s which I love, but, the amount of comfort riding on the HM compared to the 999 was just riduclous. It does'nt fight you at low speed like a superbike does, it does'nt burn the shiat out of ya like a superbike does... It really felt to me like a swiss army knife of bikes. It's fun at low speeds, talk about a fun aspect of riding moto's I haven't had since riding d bikes.

Put another 150 miles on it today and will ride home tomorrow AM. I just can't stop grinning.

So, obviously need some mods. I'm thinking:

Misc carbon bits
Termi 2-1 Race exhaust
Sargent seat
Suspension set up for me.

Then maybe think about the super mileage adding tank and stacks and the PC3.

Honestly though, I'm super pleased. I think everyone should hop on a HM some time, they're really as bad ass as HM owners say.

To Ducati, This Bud's for you!

Congrats! Mine is an '09 Pearl White also. I am in love, also. I can't stop grinning, also. When I'm done riding, I can sit in the garage and just stare at her... for hours on end. I have had four other motorcycles and only loved one other almost this much... ALMOST. I get so many compliments - it looks fast standing still. And, even though it isn't really 'fast' by superbike standards, it is one QUICK MUTHER!!!
