Fork adjustment on EVO SP

Ok guys, as some of you may know I recently had my sag set, which did wonders for handling and stability.

Today I decided to try and fine tune rebound and compression. Now I have a couple of questiones:

1. Are there supposed to be "clicks" heard/ felt? I have no clicks and the compression screws at the bottom of my forks are so soft I can turn them with my finger nail. Rebound is the same way, no clicks but they're a little stiffer, need a screw driver for them.

2. Which way is "clockwise" for the rebound knob on the rear shock?? Are we talking looking from the top down clockwise or from the bottom up clockwise??

Now I called my dealer about the front forks and they said it was normal, but I just dont see how the compression screw should be so loose, I mean it seems like it could turn on its own.

Thanks in advance.

You have answered all the new questions now, it would appear then that they are the same setup as the older ones where there is turns but no clicks.

Read the Ohlins setup, gooooooooogle it and you will find their setup is backward to others but the rear shock can be dialed in nicely.

Unfortunately Marshocking may have continued their old path which will see you wanting cartridge kits but let us know if you adjustment does alter things.

Yeah its funny how the manual calls for clicks but it states the factory setting is 1 1/2 "turns" out from fully closed (clockwise). I set them all to factory specs and it felt good on the ride in to work, I'm just scared the bottom fork screws will move on their own because they are so loose feeling.

They seem to stay in place, the bigger issue you may find is the oil volume, as a number of us found the oil volumes and heights all up the creek from factory DO NOT believe what the book says.

If you want the best from your factory setup without spending heaps it is worth pulling the forks and emptying them and starting from fresh, generally they are over dampened at least for lighter weight riders thus a number of people have lowered the fork oil weight.

Many Ohlins forks and shocks dont really click, its more of a feeling that is faint but you can still feel each individual adjustments. As far as the rebound on the shock, whatever way you hold the knob clockwise is still clockwise. Marzocchi stuff I have no experience with. Maybe the adjusters are like preload adjusters that just turn and don't click.

I thought Delis had defected to the Austrian side? You were in "quiet time" for all these months?
