TPO or Ducshop intake question.

hi, i'm sure this has been asked before but i'm hoping to give my bike spec and get some advice on set-up.

so i have an 08 1100 with DP cams, full termi,DP ecu and added 2 teeth to the rear during a 520 coversion. from what i read on these forums, upgrading the intake will give me the next biggest bang for the buck so i've been looking into the TPO or the ducshop intakes.

does anybody have any firsthand experience with a similar set-up and know whether i will be needing to add a power commander etc or will it all be able to run together with some tweaking on a dyno. i called ducshop last week to ask the same question but nobody called me back
also, other than more noise will intakes make a big difference to my setup. i've always been under the assumption that v-twins run better with the back pressure of an airbox.

thanks in advance,
pip

If you have a DP cams ECU you'll probably get pretty close, (at 18% richer) but since the ECU was not mapped without a airbox at the factory, you will do better with a PC & dyno run for a custom map for both front & back cylinders, specifically for your bike with your mods.

Get the MWR filter from anth at desmo works...have a look at the thread i started...i want to get one once someone can map the 2010 bikes..i'd love to see what someone on here thinks of them ..1st hand opinion...maybe anthony would donate one?? so we can all see the benifits so mR Vortech can be happy!!! sorry to be off topic..but if it was me i'd be trying one from sure..
