Ive been planning out a new CF project for my Hyper now for sometime. Something structural.... something seriously mother F'n bad ass!
What I'm looking to do is to make a complete subframe for the bike in Carbon Fiber. Maybe just a few oz of aluminum in a couple of places like the mount points.
Not to get into all the details but part of what I have as my plan ill need a subframe that I can hack up, fill in, grind on, and eventually take molds off of. So here is the dilemma. I don't want my bike down while I'm doing this so I don't want to have to use up my existing subframe in the process.
Now here is what I'm hoping to find. One of you endless aftermarket purchasing types just happens to have one sitting in the garage cause you replaced it with a lighter aluminum unit and you haven't put it up on Ebay for that seems to be going for $324.00 average auction price.
What will you get out of it? Not your very own carbon subframe, sorry. I kind of want it to be a one off, and I'm a greedy bastard like that. I will be willing to trade some of my other carbon parts that ive made that are finished and ready to go. Right now I have a
CF beak bottom or
CF stator cover. Yours for only something that is hopefully collecting dust just waiting for someone to do something cool with.
Thanks for your attention.
