Just Got Termi 2 into 1....
Just Got Termi 2 into 1 total system package! Going to have it installed this next week. So stoked, found it on CL for $1,300 (and its brand new, never mounted)!
Now my only question is to baffle or to remove the baffle? I'm thinking remove, I don't like my neighbors that much anyway

do NOT run the baffle if you have the carbon fiber slipon.
the baffle in a termi 2-1 carbon fiber slipon will cause deformation / melting of the carbon fiber, as the baffle provides too much back pressure.

Oh shizzle, I've been running it with the baffle. Sounds great without it but I was trying to keep the coppers of my tail. It's close to stock with the baffle in, sound wise in my opinion. So far no melting but it hasn't been in that long. I think I'll remove it maybe I could drill some holes in it to relieve back pressure. I know this has been said a million times but WOW what a freakin difference this exhaust makes. definitely feels like it has more power but most importantly it rides smooth now. No more stalling, no more snatchy throttle and starts immediately.

No problems running the 2-1-2 with or without the baffle. I've done several track days and extended bumper to bumper travel without any signs of excessive heat or deformation.

Do you think Ducati would replace the can if it melted from the baffle? Wishful thinking probably.

I've seen both story, replaced and not.
This one for example.
Carbon sleeve showed obvious melting point. The owner took it to the dealer who didnt do anything. Exhaust exploded 50 miles later.
Replaced
This other one just happened, less than a week ago :
Carbon sleeve starting to melt and discolor. The owner bring it to the dealer who send a request to Italy, and Ducati Italy just refused to replace it.
Ducati said it was due to a "non normal" use, which is weird because the owner of this one use his Hyper on the track...
Both stories are from a Termi 2-1 with baffle.
