New member my evo sp in oz
Greetings all,
with only 15klms on the clock just got my baby from the dealer..wanted to say a big thanks to everyone that contributes to the forum..it is the best for learning about all Ducati's
i have just come off an Ape SXV550 ..i see crank1000 is here to..i was on the AF1 forum..so in the short ride home, she is very comfy .. the dealer looked after me, with a gold chain, some crash nobs front and rear and a new DP seat
i have a million questions to ask...sorry but maybe 1-2 at a time
a TERMI kit here is like 4K 2-1 or 2-2 (inc manifolds)
i have the 2010 catalog infront of me 9for the entire world) the part number for the pipes is the same all round this world (according to the book) so what i am asking is the 2010 Termi 2-1 kit for my bike is part number D96459210B this comes with a dedicated DP ECU for the new (sperm computer) Siemens,, ha was a joke
i assume this ECU tune ducati do to it (before it leaves) is the same no matter where you buy it correct? as the part number is the same...ie//if i buy from uSA will it be the same as if i bought it here..all comes from italy right? or is the mapping unique for each country of origin,(what a task that would be)? thanks for helping out...hope to hear from you all soon...this will be the slowest 1000 klms of my life ..running in that is ..
johnnie

I just bought the same bike, the term exhaust does not work on that bike. I am having them put my exhaust pipes back on. The ecru cannot be adjusted and it will backfire like crazy, runs very lean... My bike has been in the shop the last months, they have tried everything, I mean everything

The thought here (if not fact) is that the only compatible pipes thus far are from Termignoni for the 2010 model year. Or better said, 2009 kits do not work on the 2010 bikes.

exactly, I don't understand why, but it will not tune. they must have had something done different because mine runs like sh@t... They talk about it on here, but I said the same thing about all the ones I see on you tube have the TERMI 2 in 1 and they all seem to run great.

yeah when i asked a ducati dealer (i wont name) here in oz about the different injection and 2 sensors ..(when i was researching) some had no-idea that the ECU was different or the sensors were different , or that it had single spark heads..i was basically accused of telling fibs??? same thing when i had my APE .it didn't run right until i found a dealer/mech that knew the motor and how to set it up esp after i fitted a full race pipe ... have you considered sending Termi and email with the dP ecu number and asking if its all good? just a thought...sometimes if you have to get to the bottom of things you gota do it yourself..i mean no - disrespect here! you may have already done so, i am new to the forum..johnnie
